Fashion Week Freebie

Went to fashion week and got a great freebie melon-colored bag as the give-away from WE tv. I loved the bag. I wanted to love the gift giver.


I am not familiar with the programming. Seems mostly about puppies, weddings, and hair. Shocking and bitchy, with a littly fuzziness to soften the blow.

Nike

The Nike Statement Energy Corset and Sizzle Loose Knit pant would be my purchase for the season. If I were a kick boxer and about 20 years younger, I would venture the Limited Edition Gear, but its hard to carry off the Warrior Princess/Tomb Raider thing with left-over mascara dusting my undereye and peanut butter smeared into my sleeve. I won't even start on the wrinkles and thinning hair.

Harlem and The Country Club

Fashion comes to Harlem. 7th Ave, north of Central Park.

I gotta know these things. I have to go there and see stores like "N" on 116th, "Montgomery," "B. Oyama," and "Pieces of Harlem." The little map at the NYT's article is not archived, but 4 of the stores referenced by the Times are from 134th to 137th, on 7th.

I saw the Nike golf dress in the most recent catalog.
It looks like a soccer mom drove her suv into a pleather factory. For that reason alone, I might like it. I might like it more because to wear it out on the course with a swing less impressive than Ms. Wie's could get the subject clotheshorse in trouble. Cool.
